- Purchase an Intel i5 or i7 Processor
- In 2020 Intel has reached its 10th Generation of Processor, however a 8th and 9th generation are still fast enough
- 8 GB of RAM is better than 4 GB
- Windows 10 PRO – Bit-Locker Drive Encryption is not available with Windows 10 Home but Win10 Home can be upgraded to Win10 Pro for $99 via the Microsoft Store
- TPM 1.2 or 2.0 Chip – A TPM chip will save the Bit-locker Drive Encryption Key
- In most cases a Touch Screen is not needed
