C3SD Inc. provides two options for C2 Loan Originators. The first offering is called the C2C3 Cloud Desktop which was designed as a Platform to help meet compliance by providing a Cloud Based Windows 10 Environment from which to work in from any internet connection. Included is OwnCloud, a similar service to Dropbox, MS Office & Calyx Point connected to the C2 Point Central Server managed by C3SD Inc. When working in the environment along with a Partner or Processor client files and data do not need to leave the environment ensuring they remains safe, secure and backed up. This plan is $95/mo. per user and includes IT support in regards to connecting to the system. Secure access to the Platform is available from the Microsoft Remote Desktop app available for Windows, Apple or Android.
With the second option you will receive an email from Calyx to install Point on your own PC. During the installation Point is automatically configured to connect to the Point Central Platform C3SD Inc. manages on behalf of C2. This plan helps to meet some compliance requirements because the Point data files are stored in a database inside of Point Central on our Platform as opposed to your local PC. Those files remain safe, secure and are backed up nightly. The way you manage the rest of your client data, how your PC is secured, etc. will determine if you remain in compliance.* This plan is $65/mo. per user but requires a Windows based PC to meet Calyx’s System Requirements. IT Support is available for a fee, billed in 15 min increments.
Regardless of the option chosen, each Plan comes with Point Central Data Folders that allows the secure sharing of Point data among multiple users in a Team and provides access to a set of Point Print Groups and Templates built by other C2 Team Members.
